The Bible, The Torah, The Qur'an, & The Apocrypha I

(I think I'm gonna split this blog up b/c I have alot to say)
So, I've always strange issues with religion or whatnot, I think it comes from my strong belief in logic and reasoning. I think that stops me from being the kind of Christian that I should be or think I should be. In my personal opinion, I think those who are the strongest strongest believers in a faith are those that know nothing of other faiths and religions. I say this because, I think this is where some of my issues arise. My knowledge of other religions, not just "The Big Three" are what keep me from believing full heartedly in some of the spiritual teachings I have come across. How can I believe fully in my Christian religion when I know that Jesus' birthday is in fact not Dec 25th, but Dec. 25th was a pagan celebration date (the Birthday of the Sun god Mithra) that past Christians just used in order to make the transition to Christianity easier. I suppose ignorance is bliss, because knowing all these miscellaneous facts, like the many parallels between Jesus and Horus, in a way hinder my believing in some of the diety teachings about Jesus. The were both know as "the anointed one" Christ and KRST respectively. Both were crucified, both walked on water, cast out demons, healed the sick, restored sight to the blind.

Thats all for now, but there's more to come...
